Hardiknas merupakan hari yang selalu diperingatai di Indonesia setiap tanggal 2 Mei. Tanggal tersebut sangat tidak abnormal lagi bagi para siswa pelajar, alasannya yaitu hampir setiap tahun selalu memperingati hardiknas dengan upacara misalnya, atau dengan kegiatan yang bertema pendidikan lainnya. Seperti mengadakan lomba antar kelas, maupun antar sekolahan. Mengisi acacar hardiknas bermaksud untuk memperingati dan mengenang sosok pendekar pendidikan yaitu Ki Hajar Dewantara.
